My Story
The first ride
My story with waterskiing started when I was just 4 years old. At an age when most kids were still figuring out how to ride a bike, I was already holding onto the rope, gliding across the water behind a boat – tiny skis, big dreams, and a whole lot of excitement. What began as a fun family activity quickly turned into something so much more: a passion, a lifestyle, and eventually, my biggest focus.
Growing up, the water felt like home. Every summer was spent on the lake, every free moment was a chance to improve. I loved the feeling of speed, the challenge, and the satisfaction of getting a little better every day.
My parents were always by my side – especially my dad, who’s been my biggest supporter and motivator since day one. Together, we put in the hours, trained in all conditions, and slowly but surely, I started to grow not only as an athlete but also as a competitor.
My first major breakthrough came at the U-17 European Championships, where I not only competed at the highest level for my age group – I actually won gold and became European Champion in Slalom. That moment was truly unforgettable. Standing on top of the podium, hearing my name and seeing the flag rise, was something I had dreamed about for years.
Even more emotional was sharing that victory with my family. My dad, who had been there for every step of the journey, was incredibly proud and even got emotional – a moment I’ll never forget.
That win gave me confidence and the motivation to keep pushing. In the same year, I also competed in the U-21 European Championships in Bordeaux – even though I was still in the U-17 category. Competing against older, more experienced skiers was a huge challenge, but I gave it my all and finished with an incredible 3rd place. It was my first U-21 podium and a result that showed me I was ready for the next level.
Fast forward to 2024, and I’m proud to say that I became Vice European Champion U-21 at the European Championships in Lacanau. Taking home the silver medal at such a high-level competition felt amazing – especially because I know how much work went into getting there. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but every training session, every early morning, and every setback helped shape the athlete I am today.
Through the years, waterskiing has given me more than just medals – it’s taught me discipline, patience, determination, and the joy of always chasing something bigger. It’s also introduced me to amazing people, unforgettable places, and a version of myself that’s always ready to grow.
Looking ahead, I’m more motivated than ever. I still have big goals – like standing on the podium at the World Championships and maybe one day becoming U-21 European Champion as well. But no matter what the future holds, I’ll always remember where it all began: a four-year-old girl on the lake, falling in love with the water one ride at a time.

3rd place at European championships U-21
One of the highlights of my season was earning 3rd place at the U-21 European Championships in Bordeaux – while still being in the U-17 age category!
