About Me

Get to know me

Lisa Gusenbauer

Hey, I’m Lisa, 18 years old and a competitive waterskier! I’ve been competing in waterskiing for several years now – a sport that not only brings me a lot of joy but constantly challenges and motivates me to improve. I’m very ambitious and determined, and I always strive to give my best.

Besides waterskiing, I’m super active in general. I enjoy playing tennis, skiing, cycling, swimming – basically anything that gets me moving. Staying active is a big part of my life.

I also love to travel and discover new places, cultures, and adventures. No matter where I am, having fun and enjoying life is really important to me. I love to laugh and spend time with my friends – whether it’s spontaneous or something we’ve planned.

Speaking of planning – I really like being organized and having structure in my day. It helps me stay focused on my goals and feel in control. I’m not a fan of doing nothing, so if I ever have free time, I usually find something productive or fun to do. Boredom just isn’t my thing!

Goals

What is my vision?

University

Aiming to pursue a university degree in Business Administration to build a strong foundation for a future career in business.

Podium at world championships

One of my biggest goals is to stand on the podium at my last U-21 World Championships. It’s a moment I’ve been working toward for years – through dedication, discipline, and countless hours on the water. I want to finish my junior career on a high note, pushing my limits and giving everything I have to reach that final milestone.

U-21 European Champion

Having already achieved the title of European Champion in the U-17 category, my next goal is to become the U-21 European Champion. This title represents the next step in my journey as an athlete, and it motivates me to push my limits even further. Transitioning into the U-21 category presents new challenges, but it also brings new opportunities to test my skills and elevate my performance. I am determined to build on my previous success, working harder than ever to reach this goal and make a mark in the sport at the senior level.
